I’m normally confined to office work; it’s one of the unsung joys of the life of an entrepreneur. I sit behind my computer while my sales team sends photos of all the exotic locales they visit while connecting with customers, and driving to trade shows.
But, my time has come!
RazerLift is exhibiting at the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition in Louisville Kentucky next week. It runs from October 1 to 3, and I’m told it is a monster of a show where the entire industry converges to see the latest and greatest. It only runs every two years, so the timing worked out well for us; just after we manufactured and packaged our first units we get to sell them at one of the biggest events in the industry.
Our company van is currently in Calgary, and we decided that it’s my turn to take the wheel. I’ve got quite a drive ahead of me; 3 days to traverse 3,000 km. I’ve driven the Canadian Prairies countless times, but from Manitoba down to Kentucky will be new for me, and I’m sort of excited.
Any advice on what I should look out for along the way? Any suggestions for sights / sounds in Lousiville? Drop me a line.
And if you plan on attending the ICUEE show – or you just happen to live in Louisville, and next week is wide open for you – I cordially invite you to drop by our booth and say hi. We’re in booth #2344. I’m not the greatest shutterbug, but I’ll try to post some photos, so keep an eye on our social media (links elsewhere on the site).
Let the road trip begin!
